Hraundalur Farm is located outside Borgarnes on the way to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The drive from Reykjavik is an hour and twenty minutes. The property is 700 hectares, mostly pristine lava grown with birch and moss. Approached via a two kilometre private road - this is as secluded a place as you can find anywhere. The landscape is magnificent as are the views in all directions. A small stream with sea trout and the occasional salmon runs through the property. Two small lakes are home to a variety of birds including a pair of eagles who visit in late autumn and throughout winter.
